You may have to log into eTicket directly (point browser at URL/hcl/modules/eTicket) to set up the e-mail.

Having a great amount of trouble getting the POP3 to work.

I have a POP3 server that is on another server somewhere else, and I can confirm  I have all of the correct login info for the account. I have entered all the information in the Category page, then assigned a Group to the Category and a User (me) to the Group.

When I login I get no new emails, yet i know there is an email in inbox for the account.

One more thing, if change "answers" from auto to POP3 I get a cannot open mailbox error, but again the credentials I entered are correct.

Any ideas?

Can you check the phpinfo for your site (a test file containing <?php phpinfo(); ?>) and see if you have socket support?  I believe that eTicket requires it.

At this point, you've got me, have you posted in eTicket's forums?  I'm by no means an expert with that system, since like many others, I don't care for their trouble tickets.  I'd love to see a HCL native trouble ticket module, but so far there hasn't been anyone interested in writing one.
