after being logged on for a long period of time my HCL freezes up. It won't refresh and you can't start a chat session.

Any ideas?

Set your timeouts just a bit above where they give you problems.  For the most part the timeouts were set to the generally most optimum level (the exception being the initiate timeout, which is being re-thought due to some issues there).
