I am not very technical, so I thought I would try here for some answers.  

I have just installed Help Center Live and I get an error when trying to generate the Image Code. 

"Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /help/admin/code.  php on this server. 

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

try to give this folder "code" 755 permission .  i think it gonna work.

if it dosen't contact your host provider to solve it.

You might want to try and redo the install from scratch.

This is happening in mod_security environment mostly. One of a rule can create problems.
Check your error_log, there will be much more info.
