I have searched the forum, and am surprised I haven't found anyone else with this problem.  When chatting, the operator and the visitor routinely sees past entries repeating in the chat window.  I have seen this from time to time on 3 different installations.

Using HCL 2. 7. 1, php 5. 2. 9, mysql 5. 0. 45, with a standard installation, no modules installed.

Anyone else experience this or have an idea why?
