What code modifications would be needed to just be able to initiate a chat with a browsing user from the admin, but not show a window that asks if they want to chat with support, but just open the chat window immediately?

Hmm, it could be done, the big issue is Why? Seriously, if you put this on any normal page a couple of things will happen, you'll be inundated with chat "requests" and zero control. And visitor irritation that they are forced into a chat without their permission. Basically you shortcut the initiate process, bypassing user control if I understand correctly.
