Title: Long chat text disappears Post by: aznxbandit on December 18, 2007, 02:37:29 AM Hello to all and happy holidays. I am currently using version 2.1.5 on a linux box. One problem we are having is the limitation in the chat text area during chat sessions. When a visitor types more than 100 characters, it does not come through when he/she submits it. The same thing is happening with the operator. Is there a way we can increase the size of the text area?

Once I locate a nasty bug, I'll release a hotfix for the text size issue. I'm not sure yet if it's going to become .16 since .16 may not happen, but we'll see.

I moved my HCL installation from Linux (Mandriva 2006) to windows and long chat texts no longer are disappearing. I have no time to try to find the root cause of the issue in Linux but if you are experiencing the same issue, this info might help you.
