Title: Blob Error when adding Operators Post by: txadmin on July 24, 2008, 04:49:23 PM Has anyone else gotten this error when adding a new operator in the admin area:
Code: Notice: Undefined variable: blob in /home/calwllic/public_html/efwlli/livehelp/class/operator.php on line 196 I just started trying to play around with HCL today. The Fantastico app on my webhost installed version 2. 1. 4. I then upgraded to v2. 1. 7 hoping it would fix this bug but it is still there. It does not seem to interfere with adding an operator, I just hate seeing errors on webpages. Anyone know how to fix it? Title: Re: Blob Error when adding Operators Post by: txadmin on July 24, 2008, 05:06:28 PM I found another post that explained how to turn off the error messages, but that seems to be a cheap hack. Is there a way to genuinely fix the code?
Title: Re: Blob Error when adding Operators Post by: ScriptJunkie on August 02, 2008, 01:17:23 AM I resolved by uninstalling both versions, then doing a fresh install of 2. 17. But, I didn't have any data to lose as both were new to me, so that wasn't an issue.
After installing 2. 17 clean, I saw the blob error one time. I refreshed the page, logged out, logged back in, and haven't seen it since. I have no idea what that's about, but since it seems resolved, I don't worry about it. |
