Title: Installing help Post by: yhicsf on January 12, 2009, 01:57:58 AM Hi
I have help center live available through my hosting company so I've been trying to install it. The instructions from both hcl and my hosting company are poor at best. I followed the instructions and when I get to the point where I have to go to www. mysite. com/hcl/setup after I fill in all the information they ask for I get the warning message Warning: mysql_connect() [function. mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'yhicadmin'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/yourhous/public_html/hcl/class/database. php on line 48 Access denied for user 'yhicadmin'@'localhost' (using password: YES) Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thanks! Title: Re: Installing help Post by: lvalics on January 12, 2009, 01:37:02 PM your username or password is not OK for the database, usually username, could be that need some prefix.
