Title: how to handle undelivered messages during chat sessions

Hi,


I am facing a peculiar problem with livehelp operator chat. Some of the messages that I type does not reach the visitors. The problem can be my slow connection. When I check the transcript my typed messages are not updated. So the connection between my browser and server may be cause the problem.

Is there a way to send the undelivered messages, or to know that some of the messages are undelivered.

Nope, your fine with where you posted, if we need to we can move topics around.

But to your question, can you give me a little detail about what browser your using?  We've noted that IE6 & 7 seem to have an issue whereby if the server isn't trusted it can give unexpected results.  Best solution is to set your website as a trusted site, and ensure you have the latest Sun Java Plugin. 

If this is happening in a non-IE browser, please let me know.  The bandwidth required by HCL is actually pretty low, that's part of why it has great speed, it sends less over the Internet.  However, I'm not sure if there ever has been much testing with dial-up or ultra lowbandwidth connections.  We may have to try that.
