Title: Help with Chat Post by: daemonkin on May 12, 2009, 09:00:28 AM Sorry for vague subject.
Installed on Linux, PHP 5+, MYSQL 4. 1. 22 I have tested locally on 1 machine with 2 tabs open - 1 client, 1 admin and can see all messages back and forth. When I placed on server and logged in (Admin FF3. 0. 10, XP, Client FF on Mac OSX 10. 5) I can see only the chat from each person client can only see client chat, admin can only see admin chat. Any help appreciated. Regards, D. Title: Re: Help with Chat Post by: SpenserJ on May 12, 2009, 03:41:51 PM Well it COULD be that you are using a client on OS X. As I have mentioned previously, I have yet to get the OS X side of things working properly, no matter if it is client OR operator. If it works properly in Windows for client and operator together then it is an OS X issue. Feel free to dig into the code and try to fix it for us if you can!

I've been testing on different OS systems and browsers. Is there somewhere I should post my results or would here do? I'll start: Mac OSX 10.3 using Safari (client) to Windows XP SP3 FF3.0.10 (operator) works no problem D. I am assuming that is Safari 3, correct? 3 is the current version, but there is a developer preview of safari 4 out too. I will test my browsers (only OS X, and possibly Win2k3 if I go into work) out today and update the list. And then, do you mind if I post the finished list here? Just downloaded and tested Google Chrome as client on XP. Works.

Reworking the issues numbering, added a few more tests. What works and what doesn't? Operators:
