Why does no one answer the question of FAQ's for newbies

I have search and search and can not find how they work?

seem others have the same problem, and no one can answer it!

Sorry about the lack of help.  I'm usually about but have been busy on another project.  Have been contacted by the owner to get back in to the fray so I'm here now.  Ask away!!
