Hi, I am a new user and was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to why the canned messages won't work for me. They are viewable by the operators and "seem" to work in that the operator can click the send button, but only the operators name (no canned message) appears in the client's chat box.

Also, once I get this working, is it feasible to insert a %%user%% tag in the canned messages to add that personal touch?

Hmm, double check the chat_admin.tpl in your theme, sounds like there is a typo in it.  Note that ANYTHING in the compiled directory will expire and you'll lose your changes unless you fix the template itself.
