The live chat icon, and the scripts it loads (include.php, misc.php, aardvark.php, xmlhttprequest.php and live.php) slow down a page for about a second. Is there anything that can be done to speed up this process?

This especially happens in browsers that load the page sequentially, like Firefox. IE will load the page, and then finish loading anything that may be a little slow, Firefox does not.
