Hello. I installed the HCL and it is really slow (chat almost impossible)... Did someone else face this kind of problem???  Cry

Hmm, there are a lot of things that can cause this type of issue.  slow web server, slow MySQL, running over a slow link (don't laugh, we had someone that had shared hosting, and unbeknownst to him, the host was running on a slow ADSL line. )  Anyway, the hard part is figuring out what is slowing things down.

Well, I think it must be something with MySql because even the admin pages of HCL are slow... there is some kind of setting I must do in my (existing) MySql db? Or something in the config.php file???

Im sure is not the server/host that is causing the problem....  Cry

Is the MySQL server on the same machine as the web server (i.e. is the mysql server "localhost")?
